Sunny Saturday

We started our day off with our normal Saturday morning routine, Gymboree. We have been taking JoJo there since he was 10 weeks old. I plan on doing the same with Baby Derek. Not only is it great for children, it is wonderful for moms. We have been so lucky to meet such great friends there. We have been raising our children together since birth practically. Most of them have already had baby #2 or are having #2, so Baby Derek will have friends in the circle also!

We opened the pool today. Crystal clear, but freezing. I have been told that I will be over heating every day this summer because of being pregnant, so the cool temp may be inviting come mid July. I was just about ready to jump into JoJo's water table today after laying in the sun for an hour!

I booked my first pre-natal massage at Body Mind Stress Management. I spoke to the owner Johnny and thanked him over and over. I'm looking forward to that first massage!!

My stomach is growing and growing and growing. Which is a very good thing. I can feel the pull in my skin. Every few weeks I feel this, then it goes away then it comes back, etc..... The stretch is more apparent now because my stomach is getting much bigger. I absolutley love it! (The growing belly, not the pull)!!

I let one of my students feel Derek kick today. She got a kick out of it! lol... Literally! He loves math. Every math class he moves around. He is very quiet during English. Maybe because he is listening very closely to the stories! Or they put him to sleep!

I am looking forward to a nice weekend. Today's weather is yucky. I have my professional 4th block, which means I have an hour and a half to get my work done if need be. I do what I have to do, then I go down to the stadium and walk the track. I won't be walking today in this weather. The track at WHS is beautiful. I am fortunate to have that resource right here. I have to say, I am more looking forward to the membership at The Atlantic Club!!!!!

P.S. Thursday night sundae was great! :0)

I love Thursdays! Sounds odd, I know, usually people are cheering TGIF! Let me explain my love for Thursday nights. I could eat chocolate ice cream in a waffle bowl with chocolate syrup, cool whip and colored sprinkles every night. But I don't. I limit myself to only once a week. It used to be Fridays, but I couldn't wait, so Friday became Thursday. My husband, Joe, makes the best ice cream sundae for me every Thursday and we lay in bed and eat them. Tonight is going to be good because I can eat my treat and watch So You Think You Can Dance.

Last night as we layed in bed, Derek was very active. Usually when Joe puts his hand on my stomach, the baby stops moving. Last night, he was loving his Daddy! It was very exciting.

Misspelled two words in my first post....real good for a teacher, right!?!?!? How embarrasing! I will pay closer attention next time! :0)
