I had my weekly check up at the doctor yesterday. Very excited that I did not gain any weight! That's always good!
All 3 of us filled the exam room, the nurse took my blood pressure, tested my urine, then she started to walk out, but before she did she turned back into the room and told me to take everything off the bottom and handed me a paper cloth to drape over myself.
I said, "oh no, I got my one and only internal last week, I don't need another, I'm having a scheduled c-section."
She checked with the doctor - I was wrong. Ok, no big deal, they have to do what they need to do.
So there I was getting "checked out." No dilation, no effacement.
Just what I wanted to hear!
